Unveil AI-Driven Livestock Monitoring Pilot in Pekan, Pahang for Enhanced Food Security and Data Transparency

Pekan, Pahang – October 23 – We are a Malaysian technology startup, today announced the launch of an innovative pilot project farm with the Royal Pahang Family. The pilot marks the introduction of AI-based agricultural platform, integrated with IoT hardware and chip technology, to bring real-time monitoring, digitalization, and data transparency to livestock farming.

The initiative is being implemented at the Royal Pahang Family’s cattle farm in Pekan, serving as the launchpad for high-tech solutions designed to track livestock movement, monitor animal health through temperature tracking, and capture key metrics for optimizing farm management. These solutions also align with Pahang State Government’s ambitious Pahang Wagyu Cattle Premium Livestock Breed Project, which aims to increase the state’s production of high-quality, high-value wagyu beef, while encouraging the owner of wagyu cattle to monitor their cattle movement through the system.

As food security and sustainability become increasingly important, this technology is expected to play a critical role in the development of Malaysia’s livestock industry by enhancing data transparency, which is vital for government oversight, financial institutions, and insurance applications. The platform offers comprehensive capabilities that ensure real-time livestock health monitoring and data collection on a centralized digital platform, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions with unprecedented efficiency.

Our IoT-enabled livestock tracking and temperature monitoring will contribute not only to improved cattle welfare but also to more transparent and efficient industry practices.

This pilot also sets the foundation for big data applications in agriculture, providing valuable insights that will shape future livestock management strategies. With growing demands for data-driven agriculture, the project is expected to facilitate increased transparency for all involved parties, including local breeders, government bodies, and financial institutions. By creating a seamless connection between health data and livestock movements, the platform aids in reducing the risk factors associated with livestock headcounts, production, directly benefiting food security initiatives and agricultural sustainability.

This project is set to roll out in stages, with the pilot providing valuable insights to optimize full-scale deployment and it could serve as a model for broader implementation across Malaysia, helping to transform the nation’s agriculture industry with modernized, data-rich, and transparent practices.
