SOUTH AFRICA, 15 May 2017 – Business consultant, (CAG) and its local associate, Amanat Gas were invited by the South Africa’s Department of Trade and Industry, the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality and Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) to the official launch of the Vulindlela Revitalised Industrial Park on May 15.
Vulindlela is one of the prioritised industrial parks identified for revitalisation in line with the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP), which located at Vulindlela Heights Industrial Park in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.

CAG and Amanat Gas, a group of International professional entrepreneurs in business consulting focused mainly in agri-business, liquefied petroleum gas and aquaculture, said they were delighted to conduct meetings and discuss potential projects with management of ECDC, along with representative of local business community, grandson of Nelson Mandela, Mr. Mandla Mandela.

Upon which, visiting delegates received an invitation from Mandla Mandela to tour Mvezo Komkhulu Museum, the birthplace of Nelson Mandela. As token of appreciation, CAG and Amanat members have personally presented the craving stone of Nelson Mandela to his oldest alive relatives to receive on behalf of Mandela’s family.

CAG and Amanat Gas were also introduced to the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality during the Vulindlela Industrial Park Revitalised Progamme launch and had a meeting with regional Taxi Association to discuss the LGP Project, pledging their support to convert local taxi and other public transport to use autogas rather then conventional fuel options.
On other matter of agro-development, CAG and Amanat Gas members have met Chief Zwelodumo Mtirara discussing proposed Engcobo Land for the Cotton Cultivation Project.
Both companies ended the Mthatha trip in Eastern Cape by visiting Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) and have a fruitful meeting and presentation to ECDC on LPG business, Cotton Cultivation and Aquaculture projects which brings advantages for Eastern Cape economy.

To name few, proposed initiatives will greatly contribute to the development of Eastern Cape economy drafting sustainable growth strategy for region, adding training, skills transfer and development programmes for the locals that will yield job creation, women’s and youth’s economic empowerment aimed towards poverty eradication and elevation of living standards.
