THE KINGDOM OF LESOTHO, 12 June 2017 – CAG and Amanat Gas conducted meeting on potential projects in the field of LPG and cotton cultivation in the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Also, discussion were on cotton growing skills transfer programme with the plan of disptaching two Lesotho agro-scientists to Tajikistan for learning the cultivation method working side-by-side with Tajikistan scientists.
Upon successful cotton cultivation trials in Lesotho few years ago using Tajikistan method of cotton growing, CAG is eagerly looking forward to jointly with Lesotho government to begin with commercial cotton production in the Kingdom to upscale agricultural landscape of the country and simultaneously transfer available skills and expertise to Lesotho people.
CAG strongly believes this exchange beside its strategic and economic benefits will bring people of both countries closer to each other regardless of geographic distances.
In regards to the energy matters and creation of more affordable and cost effective sources of it, Amanat Gas had an impressive presentation to Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Monyane Moleleki on of LPG potentials for the Kingdom. “Blue Energy” as often LPG is called, has tremendous importance for Highland living Basotho people.
Any reduction in cost of fuel and access to it is always a top priority for rural communities that battle harsh Lesotho winters.
Amanat Gas is ready to implement LPG distribution model focused on cost reduction and affordability of LPG along with use of autogas for transportation needs of the country.
