It was enormous delight for CAG to welcome and take active part in the International Entrepreneurship Forum in Dushanbe, 2016 where Mr. Sherali Davlatov, General Director of CAG (Tajikistan) had participated along with international dignitaries and local entrepreneurs who greatly contributed to the development of business in the country.
In dedication to the 25th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, and celebration of the National Day of Entrepreneurs, under the auspices of Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, on 14 October 2016 the Government will host the International Entrepreneurship Forum Dushanbe, 2016.
The Forum hosted the country’s senior government officials, local and foreign investors and leading companies, renowned scholars and foreign dignitaries. The Forum will explore six priority areas: manufacturing and import substitution, energy, opportunities in transport and logistics, agribusiness and tourism.
This year, the overarching theme is the application of modern technologies in strengthening the national product competitiveness and helping companies to localize manufacturing in Tajikistan. Light and textiles industry, agriprocessing, mining and construction materials will be in focus. Attention will be paid to transport, trade logistics and travel, including to the recent improvements in export-import procedures and tourism services.
To broaden dialogue among all stakeholders, the Forum will host a business-to-business (B2B) networking event and allow for separate meetings with state officials. Such meetings would not only foster partnerships, but also help the Government to understand entrepreneurs’ expectations.
