The charity programme was started in the year 1980 by Dato’ Seri R. Arunasalam on a small scale for the less fortunate. He has been carrying out the event without fail until now.
In the early 80’s, he started to present goodies to about 50 people in conjunction with Deepavali festival. Over the years, the number has grown to about thousands people. This charity has benefited people from all communities.
CAG has been supporting this charity for many years and we will continue to serve the community.
