SERI KEMBANGAN, Feb 4 – CAG humbled and privileged to participate in Chinese New Year 2023 Dining Event with DYMM Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus hosted by the Federation of Chinese Association Malaysia (Huazong) at Wisma Huazong, Sri Kembangan, Selangor D.E. on 4 th February 2023 (Saturday) at 10 AM to 2 PM.
Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr) Tan Sri Goh Tian Chuan, President of the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong), His Excellency (H.E) Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Malaysia, Stanislav Krans, Deputy Head of Mission, for the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Malaysia, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport of Malaysia, and other VVIPs guests pose for a group picture during the Chinese New Year Celebration on February 4, 2023.
The VVIPs, numbering around 50, also participated in the Malaysian tradition of lou sang, which involves tossing a colourful salad of both cooked and raw ingredients while making a loud wishes for prosperity and luck for the year of Rabbit. “The sign of Water Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity” said Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr) Tan Sri Goh Tian Chuan, President of the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong). “It was a welcome sight to see the corporate, NGO and political leaders coming together to celebrate the Chinese New Year, especially after the new unity government comes at a time when the country needs stable leadership and can rejuvenate long-term economic growth and appeal to global investors”, said the Tan Lin Chung, Director of CAG (M) Sdn Bhd.
