After gruesome year of 2020, where the whole world experienced sadness and tragedies of global pandemic, CAG would like to turn the page and do their part in uplifting spirit and health of our people.
The Central Asia Group (CAG) decided to participate and sponsor the charity initiative started by social running club TJK RUN CLUB.
The charity run “Blue Mile” will be held throughout February 2021 with the aim of popularizing Running / Nordic walking in support of activities of the NGO “IRODA” – the Initiative of parents of children with autism in Tajikistan.
Upon completion of the charity event, CAG will convert all running + walking kilometers accumulated by participants into a local currency Somoni at ratio of 1 km = 1 Somoni to hand over for NGO “IRODA”.
Thus, the more participants run / walk, the more actual money will be transferred to the needs of NGO “IRODA” to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization in helping kids with autism problem.
IRODA is a public organization that supports and assist people with autism spectrum disorder in Tajikistan (www.autism-tj.weebly.com).
“CAG believes that this charity run will promote healthy way of life among local community after pandemic Covid-19 and would simultaneously benefit both sides of Tajikistan society: kids with autism and regular folks participating in this charity event with their run or walks.
