Photovoltaic plant to be built in Samarkand region

Prohibition approved an investment agreement between the government of Uzbekistan, the French company Total Eren SA and a company with foreign investment in the form of Tutly Solar LLC, Trend reports citing uzreport.news.

The document provides for the obligations of the investor and the design company for the design, financing, construction and operation for 25 years of a photovoltaic station in the Samarkand region with a capacity of 100 MW.

National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan JSC will conclude an agreement with the project company on the transfer of customer connection means; will ensure the construction of the associated infrastructure of the FES.

Recall, the agreement on the purchase of electricity between the National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan JSC and TOTAL Eren was signed on September 13.

TOTAL Eren invests 150 million euros in the construction of the first photovoltaic station in the republic.
