Malaysia’s HOS Powertech Sdn Bhd to build 300 MW coal-fired power plant in Tajikistan
On 17 February, CAG has secured a new agreement for between the government of Tajikistan and HOS International Powertech Sdn Bhd (formerly known as HOS International Trading Sdn Bhd) for 2x150MW coal fired power plant in the Shurab, Isfara region on a start-up 30 years BOT basis, utilizing the Shurab coal mine concession.
From 8-11 February, 2016 – CAG was in Cape Town for Mining Indaba, Africa’s largest annual mining gathering, with the Indaba itself reportedly the biggest mining investment event in the world.
On February 1, 2016 – CAG is back to Cameroon for Gold Exploration. Gold is showing good resilience. When stocks and oil fall, gold tends to really shine.
